Senior security officials say that Ukrainian troops are fulfilling their mission – to destroy Russian machinery and ammunition in order to make the counteroffensive more effective.
Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, said that there are positive assessments regarding the counteroffensive.
Despite the fact that the counteroffensive is going slower than expected, in Kiev they say that they are on the right track towards achieving their goal – liberating the territories occupied by the Russians.
