The iPhone 15 series is expected to launch later this year, and the next-generation models are expected to have a big improvement in terms of battery life, according to a report.
The Apple company in Cupertino is said to equip all four of the alleged smartphones of the series – iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max – with larger batteries, Telegrafi reports.
It’s worth noting that Apple usually doesn’t disclose the detailed battery specifications of existing iPhone models.
According to a report by ITHome citing a source at Foxconn, the iPhone 15 will be equipped with a 3,877 mAh battery, up from 3,279 mAh in the iPhone 14 model.
The larger iPhone 15 Plus is said to have a 4,912 mAh battery – expected to be the largest battery ever built into an iPhone – which is higher than the 4,323 mAh battery in the iPhone 14 Plus.
Meanwhile, the more expensive iPhone 15 Pro will be equipped with a 3,650 mAh battery, up from the 3,200 mAh of its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will reportedly be equipped with a 4,852 mAh battery, which is larger than the 4,323 mAh unit in the iPhone 14 Pro Max model. This means that unlike the company’s existing models, the iPhone 15 Plus could be equipped with a larger battery than the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
