The dead bodies of 71 migrants have been found after the ship they were traveling in sank off the coast of Syria.
Officials said Lebanese, Syrian and Palestinian nationals, including women and children, were believed to be among the 120-150 people on board when the ship sank on Thursday.
Twenty survivors are being treated at a hospital in the Syrian city of Tartus.
Officials added that the ship had departed from Minyeh, a town near the Lebanese port city of Tripoli. The boat is believed to have been heading for Europe when it sank.
It is not yet known what caused the tragic accident.
