The iPhone has a hidden keyboard that looks different and is more comfortable.
It is supposed that this keyboard also helps to type faster, but it takes some time to get used to it. It’s called Dvorak and it was integrated into the iPhone in the latest iOS 16 update.
The keys are located in a different position from the classic “QWERTY” that we are used to.
The method was invented by August Dvorak and William Dealey in 1936 as an ergonomic alternative to “QWERTY”. Apparently, you need to use all 10 fingers to improve speed to the max, so beginners may have a bit of a hard time getting used to using two of them.
You can enable the option in Settings > General > Keyboard and select Dvorak. However, don’t expect to become a pro right away because we’re all used to our simple, ordinary keyboard.
