The heavy rains that started on Saturday have flooded 15 houses and over 600 hectares of land in Shkodër, Lezhë and Durrës counties.
The Ministry of Defense announces that in Shkodër, in the Ana e Mali administrative unit, 400 hectares of land have been flooded.
There was an improvement in the situation in the afternoon due to the cessation of rain. The quotas in Drin, Bune and Vjosë are below the critical level and do not pose a risk to residential areas.
In Lezha, 265 hectares of land were flooded. 200 hectares in Balldren Administrative Unit and 65 in Zejmen Administrative Unit.
There are also floods in houses, in the Sanxhak neighborhood of Laçi, the water engulfed 15 houses. Problems have also been reported in the Durrës region.
Lumi Ishêm and Erzen got out of bed. As a result, in the Bubq Administrative Unit of the Krujë Municipality, tens of hectares of land are under water.
As a result of the intense rain, during the night there was water and stones on some road axes.
In others, landslides. On Rruga e Arbri, a massif of earth has slipped near the Murrizi tunnel, blocking the traffic of vehicles.
On the Burrel-Shkopet national road axis, due to the fall of stones, the crossing is only in one direction.
Bad weather has also damaged power supply lines. Several villages in the region of Shkodra, Lezha, Burrel, Fier, Korça and Gjirokastra have been left without electricity.
